Sometimes you may notice that larger project files are split into multiple segments on your SD card or your USB drive.
There are four scenarios under which SlingStudio closes a file, thereby splitting a project into more than one file. These scenarios occur whichever comes first:
When you stop recording.
When the file size reaches 4 GB.
At the 1-hour recording time point.
When the header portion of the file structure (a portion of the file that stores various pieces of metadata) reaches 1 MB.
