Gaps between clips/sequences with Adobe Premiere or Apple Final Cut Pro

If you see gaps in your project after importing it into editing software, here’s some information.

After importing your project into Apple Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere, you may be find that your project's video streams have been broken into separate clips with gaps in the timeline.

If this happens, unfortunately, it's likely that the gaps were unavoidable. This could be caused by the Wi-Fi sources exceeding the wireless bandwidth during the production. It could also have been caused by exceeding the ability of your storage media to write large amounts of data to storage quickly enough.

In such cases, the gaps are used to maintain the integrity of the video's format and to avoid file corruptions that could result in an unusable project file.
