The SlingStudio enclosure features several LED indicators that reflect the device’s status.
Here is what the LED indications mean:
| Top LED band behavior | Meaning |
| Off | Powered off |
| Blue, blinking | Starting up |
| Blue, glowing steadily | Ready |
| Orange, blinking | Starting up in Reset Mode |
| Orange, glowing steadily | Ready in Reset Mode |
| INTERNET LED behavior (located below the power button)* | Meaning |
| Green, glowing steadily | Connected to the local network and the Internet, either via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable. |
| Amber, glowing steadily | Connected to the local network only, either via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable. Not connected to the Internet, so streaming can’t take place. |
| Off | Not connected to local network. |
* IMPORTANT: The INTERNET LED is used only for video streaming; it has nothing to do with the SlingStudio hotspot.
