You can do that using the SlingStudio import plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro CC, or the SlingStudio import conversion application for Apple Final Cut Pro X. The higher-quality program recordings are automatically imported into Premiere Pro CC or Final Cut Pro X by aligning the audio that's common between the SlingStudio input recordings and the native camera recordings.

Backpack/carrying case

FAQs

Can SlingStudio operate while in a backpack?

SlingStudio is a portable product but not a mobile product. It is not intended to be carried in a backpack while "in use." It needs to be non-mobile when in operation, and it requires adequate ventilation at all times.

Can SlingStudio support "Frame sync" videos?

SlingStudio does not support "Frame-sync" and "Gen-locked" audio video quality. What the product is designed to do is maintain "audio-video sync" or "lip-sync" within acceptable (imperceptible to normal human viewer) limits. At least, this is what we can offer at launch. It is possible that over time, with additional software upgrades, we may be able to improve on this, but for now, please refrain from using "frame-synchronized across all cameras."

Can SlingStudio operate at 300 foot distances?

The Wi-Fi range is published at 300 feet. But it is important to note that at these distances the video quality could be somewhat compromised. As the distance is reduced, higher bit rates can be supported.

What is the battery life?

The battery life for the SlingStudio unit and for SlingStudio CameraLink is about 3 hours.
